Main Article Content
Abstract
In an official document of the year 2020, the State of Chile affirms that the Indo-Pacific is relevant to its interests, mainly for the growth and development of its economy. Although likewise, different academic publications maintain the same thing, added to the fact that Chile's two main commercial partners are the United States of America and China, who compete before the Indo-Pacific vision, it is necessary to examine data that guides a policy before the commented vision. Consequently, this article analyzes the economic interests of Chile from the Indo-Pacific vision, using interdependence as a theoretical perspective, resulting in the dependence between Chile and the countries of the Indo-Pacific vision, especially with China first and with the United States of America later.
