Abstract
The brazilian school of critical geopolitics is made up of geographers M. Santos, B. Becker and J. W Vesentini. Base don Marxist philosophy they conceive the amazon as a dialectical división of space. B.Becker the main autor of the School conceives the amazon as an “ecological front” in line with the demands of the international community. The main weakness of the critical school are the defense and the security of the Amazonian space
