THE DISSEMINATION AND COMMUNICATION OF ARMED CONFLICTS IN THE INTERNET AGE

Abstract

The emergence of new technologies, especially Internet, has come to revolutionize the dissemination and communication of armed conflicts. The Internet has emerged as a decisive factor for the information needs because it provides a diversification that can hardly be covered by other means. The different actors involved in an armed conflict are aware of it, try to adapt and take advantage by using the global network. Through this article the impact and effect that is generated by the global network in the dissemination and communication of conflicts as well as the role of each of the actors they are playing by using the net, is analyzed.
