Abstract

By selecting events within a scope of two centuries of existence, this article runs within constant factors and processes of social and institutional changes, in order to elaborate a quite ambitious approach that pretends to express the contributions made by the Chilean Army to the republican development as well as the national society, during different phases lived with the motherland.
