INDIA: THE PERMANENT AGENDA OF ITS FOREIGN POLICY

Abstract

The article tries to identify and explain the permanent subjects of the international agenda of India, from the perspective of its own intellectuality.  This set of ideas is considered by the Indian elite, as an structural key to understand its place in the world-wide, regional and local context. Also, allows us to understand and to explain the present and the future Indian foreign policy. This is a very interesting point of view, considering the increasing influence of India in the world-wide scene. The hypothesis stated by this article considers that the permanent international agenda of India has been composed by four main variables: foreign policy, geographic, historical and security and defense, those that were integrated as well by a total of 20 general subjects.
