THE LEGAL-STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK OF BORDER MANAGEMENT AGAINST NARCOTIC DRUG IN BRAZIL
Main Article Content
Abstract
The 16,882 Kilometres that separate Brazil from its ten neighbors poses a direct challenge of border management against drug trafficking for a country that looks to have an increasing regional leadership and also, to solve its internal and external problems. Thus, out of the three existing categories (judicial, strategic and security), this article analyzes the first two categories under the hypothesis that Brazil has designed a coherent and adequate judicial and strategic means to deal with this threat which can be seen in the constitutional, legal and strategic framework.
