Abstract

This article presents the most important results and the sociological implications of applying fi ve meta - analysis to the leadership study in men and women developed by Alice H. Eagly et al., between 1990 and 1995, due to the existence of a big amount of contradictory information about the style of leadership between men and women. Meta-analysis is a set of statistical procedures devised to integrate results from independent studies dealing with related research issues.
