THE NATIONAL DEFENSE OF MEXICO: FROM NATIONAL DEFENSE DOCTRINE TO NATIONAL DEFENSE POLICY

Abstract

This analysis discusses the background of the Military Policy and the National Defense Policy of Mexico since the Mexican Revolution until the present. In addition, it addresses the Mexican Doctrine and War Policy focused on National Defense against a foreign enemy into the National Defense Plans. Finally, it will examine the similarities and differences among the Mexican National Defense Policy, Military Policy and National Security Policy.
