Abstract





The purpose of this work is to present, in a summarized manner, various antecedents related to the Ukrainian War. For which it is essential to mention historical aspects, the characteristics of the scenario, natural resources, population and languages, the sovereign status of Ukraine, military operations carried out, the geopolitical objectives pursued by Russia by invading this neighboring country, and the implications that can be observed depending on the results of this conflict that is becoming a complex geopolitical situation for Europe and the World.


It must be kept in mind that it is written during the development of the war, due to which research and analysis will continue to be carried out, with respect to this situation, keeping in mind future events.
